Directorate overview

The People and Culture Systems Partner position is in the Corporate Services directorate and is part of the People Strategy and Development team.  This team is responsible for people strategy; systems and policy; diversity and inclusion; organisational development and change; and learning and development. 

The Role 

This is a critical role supporting the Society to deliver on its people strategy through the ongoing development, maintenance and improvement of our People and Culture systems. Key work on the horizon will be a systemic review, integration, discovery and implementation of a HRIS to support our people strategy. This is a rare opportunity to really develop a digital footprint that enhances the employee experience. Ideally we are looking for someone with a combination of HR experience and tech savvy who is looking to build a specialised portfolio of experience.           

You will:

  • Be the product owner for our People and Culture systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, establish, monitor, administer and enhance system functionality
  • Develop specifications for new business processes, system features and changes
  • Work with stakeholders and Technology Services to develop and refine a vision and roadmap for People and Culture systems.
  • Use data and insights to build system and process improvement
  • Collaborate with Learning and Development and key stakeholders in the development and delivery of Learning Management System (LMS) initiatives and enhancements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing integrated HR systems, preferably with Learning Management System experience
  • Proven ability to effectively engage with stakeholders across a diverse workforce
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills including the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to agreed timelines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Drive for results and attention to detail
  • Energy, enthusiasm and resilience
